Imatinib is an oral drug used to treat the blast phase, accelerated phase and chronic phase after failure of interferon treatment in adult patients with Philadelphia chromosome (Ber-Abl) positive chronic myelogenous leukemia (CML) . CML is a chemicalbook disease of hematopoietic stem cells caused by abnormal DNA of stem cells in the bone marrow. Abnormal DNA will produce abnormal proteins, which interfere with the normal production of white blood cells in the bone marrow, and ultimately lead to a sharp increase in the number of white blood cells. CML is divided into chronic phase, accelerated phase and crisis phase. The average survival of patients in crisis phase is only 2-3 months. Imatinib is also effective in the treatment of gastrointestinal stromal tumors, with an effective rate of about 50%.
Matinib acts on three kinds of transplanted tumors derived from fresh human small cell lung cancer, and has different anti-tumor effects, inhibiting the growth of SCLC6, SCLC61 and SCLC108 tumors by 80%, 40% and 78%, respectively, but has no obvious inhibitory effect on the growth of SCLC74 . ImatinChemicalbookib treated high-fat-fed ApoE(-/-) mice, which significantly reduced the lipid staining area induced by high-fat. They were fed at doses of 10, 20, and 40 mg/kg, compared with the control group without high-fat diet. Compared with, the lipid staining area was reduced by 30%, 27%, and 35%, respectively, and the carotid artery lipid accumulation was inhibited.
